I was going to start a thread like this and happened to come across yours. Mine feel good story #1 is about a father of two (I believe), who's a vet, who got on one line for food and finally on his turn found they had run out. He got on another line...same outcome. World News Tonight (WNT) reported on his dilemma and donations started pouring in.
Another WNT story. They reported on farmers who had to let tons of food and milk go to waste because no one could deliver them or came to pick them up. WNT's David Muir promised to keep following the story. A man saw the story and gathered up some friends. They rented large trucks. Last I saw, more than a dozen people are getting to these farms and delivering the produce and milk to food banks.
