Your fave bands or songs now and then....

My favorite album for the past 57 years is The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It came out in the summer of 1967. I loved it when I first heard it. It was like nothing I had ever heard before. 🇬🇧🇺🇲

yes but have you got version of it from back then.. and a newer version recently ?

Anything Doo Wop, Bee Gees or George Jones.

Randy Travis will probably never be the same again. He has been diagnosed with Aphasia. I met Randy in his early years and I was a real fan. The last I heard was that he can sing a few lines at a time. Not long after I started working for United, Randy came onboard in Oklahoma City and was flying to New York to be on one of the late night shows. He asked that I get him there safely because this was his big break. I told him to take a seat and relax. This will be a very good ride as the weather looks just fine into New York for flying.

Fifty years later and Rhonda is still his main squeeze. Gotta be true love.

Listening to both versions now seems like they take forever to play out. But back in the day we were hot 'n heavy on the move all the time. So doing our thing and singing along with this was a snap. Still a good listen though. Thanks for posting both up together holly. -Arnold

Maze was discovered by Marvin Gaye. The first song is the first I heard by them and it brought out all sorts of emotions. I became an instant fan and bought several of their albums including the Live In New Orleans LP these are from. The second song cooks and has the audience on its feet.
