Which have you tried and were too. I have travel by train a bit rough especially going from one car to the other. Car, you can get tired with that mode, been all over the place. Traveled buy ship from the US back to Brasil took a month.. Plane from Brasil here that took at least 10 hours . Now that I'm older have no more interest in running around no matter the mode. All that travel took place as a kid and young adult.

I've tried train, bike and plane, but car is my favorite way to travel. I'm in control, can go at my own pace, and seeing the scenery in the states (or Canada) is worth it.

I have travelled on a

Ship,
Train,
Car,
Coach
Juggernaut
Bike,
Motorbike,
Ferry,
Yacht,
Plane
Tube ( subway)

I have been on an aircraft carrier and a submarine but they weren't moving at the time.

I love my car but the roads in the UK are so packed it's no fun going on a long trip...I travel by Plane several times a year but queuing for 2 hours before boarding and going through long lines at security and then waiting for luggage at the other end doesn't make it enjoyable..my most favourite way to travel is to take the train...let someone else take the strain. ;) just board , no queues, no security, sit down and use the laptop, read or go to sleep...bliss!!:D

Train for me, too!!

I've also been on an aircraft carrier and submarine... but not whilst in action. Dad took me to work with him one day on a tugboat, that was good. Never been on a yacht or motorbike. I use mostly buses nowadays with an occasional day out on the train with my grandson.

I use my car as I don't want or need to travel more than 20 miles around our area. On the occasions my kids insist I take a holiday, I fly back to my home island, for a few days.

Plane, of course. I did use the auto train one time from Sanford, Florida to Lorton, Virginia. We also had a sleeper birth. A lot of fun, but the most fun was trying to take a shower while the train was moving at 70 mph.

I guess I'd have to pick car as that has been my only mode of travel for the last 10 years... I used to love to fly, but will not do so now. A long scenic train ride might be nice someday. I'd go out west to the Grand Canyon... I have absolutely ZERO interest in visiting another country. Europe holds no great fascination for me.

Me too Bonnie..just sit back and watch the scenery..I would like to go on that Canadian Rockies train..or from East to West across the USA..(not too many changes!)

Yes, Twixie . sounds wonderful. It's a dream I have ..

Car is the only way for me,but if I have to fly it will be early AM or the night owl flights, its just too crazy flying at peak hours.
