Your first stereo

I was about 12 when my dad was stationed in the Marshall Islands and I got a "state of the art" transistor radio. Besides the base station which did play some good rock 'n' roll I would sit outside at night and slowly tune through the dial picking up stations from Hawaii, Japan and Australia. I loved it.

I remember my first set of speakers were AR2ax when i got my own place. Growing up we had a Zenith record player. We bought out 45's at Woolworth. It was so cool to find the 45 you were hoping they had. Race home and play it.

I can't remember people's names. I forget almost everything, at one time or another. BUT I had a Webcor 'stereophonic' record player in the 60s. It had a detachable second speaker to get that new thing- Webcor.jpgSTEREO sound, OOOOH!!!
