Your state just sank, where would you move?

It was a dark and stormy night, which caused your entire state to sink under 90 feet of water. So, unless you love scuba gear, you have to move. Where in the world would you move and why?

For me, I'd move back to Massachusetts. I still speak Boston.

I've never lived anyplace else, so I'd probably sink with it. I couldn't handle the cold winters of the north, the humid summers of the south, the high temps of the deserts, or the tornadoes of the central plains. I know, I know, I'm a wimp. Maybe Hawaii if I could afford it.

Vermont. This state brings to mind many happy memories of vacations I had growing up. My dad always got two weeks vacation, he hated the heat so the first week was spent traveling through all the New England states. We had no air conditioning back then and the cool air of those states was a welcome relief. We all especially loved Vermont. Now it would be nice because we really wouldn't have to go out when we got ten feet of snow. The hubby on the other hand loves the heat so I guess we will have to build an ark because I'm sure not going to go south.

Marsailles. I speak the language so why not? The South of France would be lovely year round. I'm tired of shoveling snow.

It would have to be a place with at least three distinct seasons and affordable.

Vermont sounds good, maybe Lake Tahoe Nevada, parts of Appalachia, Maine,...

Maybe it would be time to buy a little motor home, putt around for a year or two and look things over.

It would depend on where the water line was on other coasts. We could go back to the Arizona desert. California is too granola and expensive for us.

Wherever we went I would have to be able to look out the window and see palm trees.

I'm still wondering where I'd get the money to move anywhere if my state sank. All my $ is here. If I had the $ I'd probably move to Nevada as it doesn't have a state tax and I heard it's a good place to retire.

The city of Marseille is a dump. Full of islamists and a hotbed of crime. As for the climate there are falls of snow in the winter but worse yet is the horrible Vent Mistral. Goggle it.
