If this wouldn't be actual TV news video, I'd wonder if it was AI or something... but I suspect this man in the hat is now believing in guardian angels if he didn't before! Watch him... no, watch his hat. Debris from the crash.

 

I've been reading more on this... the restaurant is 1/4 mile from the crash site. Also, can't tell it from the video, but it was more than the hat being knocked off... the man was bleeding so it actually did injure him even though that's not apparent in the video.
 
I live 15 minutes from the crash site. But I have no stories to tell.

A kid who covered his sister in a car got debris to the head and is still hospitalized.

What I found interesting is the fireball that this plane exploded into and that smoke from the blast was purple in color. I never got an explanation on this. The Bureau of ATF was onsite investigating but I heard no report on what they were looking for and what they found.

Ah, so that's what it was! I heard about a boy asking if he saved his sister, but I didn't know the details. I haven't heard about the purple smoke thing before now... what exactly could that indicate?
