Don’t know whether this goes under spring pics or if I should start a new thread, “Aliens in the Garden” …. Never seen a fungus like this…

More spring 2024 fun for mr dave Monday morning 4/1/24. 6700x6200 pixels 2 column stitch blend focus stack blended 47 total a6700 shots. Last two shots were at infinity to capture the clouds at near times. With Zerene Stacker I manually select with a tool, those two last shots at that select area for those XY pixels. Rained quite awhile the previous Easter Sunday evening where I slept in my Forester on top of 0.80" Saturday. So little dirt road driving Super dense goldfields were very predictable heavy March rains outcome in this dense seed zone, but did not expect the root symbiotic purple owls clover to go big too. The goldfields said, lets do it and the owls clovers said, I guess we don't actually have a choice.
How about those bright green edges to the goldfield islands? Perrenial saltbush cyan-green. Doubt if mr dave will ever see this again in his remaining years, haha.
Ahh, the immature Triffid.Don’t know whether this goes under spring pics or if I should start a new thread, “Aliens in the Garden” …. Never seen a fungus like this…

Unfortunately I can't take any Spring photo because we still have quite snow on the ground. Forecast is saying quite warm days ahead, but it will take a while until the ground toughs and plants/flowers come alive again.
Very pretty. Tulips are my favorites.
It's been a snowy spring for New Englanders. Good news, you're New Englanders. You can hack it.This was around lunchtime yesterday. We have about 18 inches on the ground this morning.

It isn't unusual. The summers aren't necessarily short . . . but the winters, albeit nice, get to be too long.Tommy wow..that is huge.. looks more like January than April. Is this normal ?.. do you have very shot summers...?
