Help with Finding an Amazon Sale Price?

I’m sure it was here that someone explained how to save an item so it will be flagged when it comes on sale. Does anyone remember how to do this?

I didn't know there even was a way to do that; so I'm definitely going to watch this thread. I'm just checking my Amazon Shopping List daily to see if my stuff is on sale; I'd love to set it to be flagged.

Save it to your cart. When it goes on sale, the update will automatically show. It automatically shows if the price has increased too

You'd still have to check the site frequently, though, right? What i'd love is for Amazon to contact me when something I've listed goes on sale.

I think you get notices but I’m not positive on that. I do know that I’ve had things in my cart for over a year and get updates on when the price changes.

Do the updates come to you by email? Or?

Actually I’m not absolutely sure. I ‘think’ so is the best I can do.

Thanks, @PeppermintPatty That’s exactly the info I’m looking for. I’m really itching to buy something but would like it to be on sale for a bit lower price. It’s ’on sale’ this weekend through the Bay for the very same regular price on Amazon. I’ll wait.

if prices have changed either up or down in your watch list , you don't get notification about it until you put a new item into your basket... then the watch list changes will be updated and shown to you..

I save the item to my cart and then go into my cart and click the save for later. Sometimes it puts things into a shopping list folder in Google Chrome.

Thanks, Lizzie; I'm def going to check into this. There used to be a free site (IIRC, it was kindlenationdaily) that would alert you when the price of Kindle books went down but they went out of business. IIRC, they said it was Amazon that forced them to shut down, sigh.

It doesn't add it to your bookmarks? It pops a window asking me if I'd like it in my bookmarks and it will notify me when the price decreases.

Coincidentally, there was an em in my in-box first thing this morning…a price drop alert on an item i’ve been waiting for a sale on. So of course i immediately went to Amazon & placed the order & should receive my bargain package tomorrow. Gotta love quick & efficient!
