I'm glad you like it!I really am quite fond of this photo, as it's quite nostalgic. Besides being red, which happens to be one of my favorite colors, I've always been fascinated with the 1950's era.

Nothing has changed. Try a different one. I'm terrible at explaining things like this, but if file extension ends in jpeg or jpg there should be no problem.RadishRose, I've come across a few photos of a kitchen and dining room which I like, but I see uploading those photos are quite a bit more complicated than they were before. So I gave up.

Nice blog, DG. Those old dishes are cute. The pantry looks very well stocked!I thought I'd shared a few photos of my country kitchen, dining room, pantry, and dinnerware. A few things have changed over the years, but I haven't taken updated photos. The photos I had also shared on my blog.

Sooo cute!
How much did you do on these kitchens? I use to make cabinets, mainly for kitchens. We installed them with the counter tops too. Then I got a job to install factory made cabinets, and put the counter tops on. We made custom counter tops also. That Formica glue almost killed me once. I had to install sheets of it on the walls in one kitchen.Seems like I spend half my life building or re-doing kitchens. Here's 2.

The bottom pic was the kitchen we built in our Ozarks house. I cheated a bit and bought unfinished cabinets and finished them. How much did you do on these kitchens? That’s a fact.I have to admit I like this kitchen/dining area. NO Clutter. At my age It's not fun to continuously dusting knickknacks.
Thanks. I have to admit that our kitchen didn’t always look like this. This was our staged kitchen photo.I have to admit I like this kitchen/dining area. NO Clutter. At my age It's not fun to continuously dusting knickknacks.
Ruthanne, I especially love this kitchen/dining room, as it's quite retro.
I can see me in this kitchen.
