Pan Seared Lemon Garlic Butter Scallops

I loved visiting Booth Bay Harbor years ago! Growing up on Long Island the smaller bay scallops were plentiful and affordable. Now it is all the large sea scallops. The bay scallops had more surface for the lightly browned garlic butter which is part of the charm. :)
 
Now I’m salivating.

My DD & her husband are in Corpus Christie right now and scallops are a main thing on their menu. Get the good things while they can.
