Tesla pushes for $56bn pay deal for Elon Musk

Poor Mr. Musk, who is apparently down to his last $200bn in personal wealth, doesn't get a salary from Tesla. Instead, he gets his money from stock options. But hey, surely he deserves to get a corporate salary, and fair value seems to be calculated at a $56bn payment.

Of course, earlier this week he announced Tesla was laying off 10% of the work force, but clearly that's a wholly different thing and shouldn't factor here. It's getting to a point where Mr. Musk won't be able to afford a new yacht, and that's just not fair.

I find it so disgusting that people like him are never satisfied. Never have enough! $56 billion! What on earth does he plan on doing with $56 billion besides sit on the pile like Scrooge McDuck! Meanwhile, people are doing without, living under bridges, starving to death, going bankrupt because a family member got sick, or just plain living in poverty because the schools are awful and they couldn't crawl out of that hole of poverty!
