Agreed, it could happen. Not likely, but possible that Putin could use tactical nukes in Ukraine, and if Nato members are drawn into Putin‘s desire to reestablish the old Soviet Union, the US could be forced into a direct confrontation with Russia. Then there is North Korea, an unpredictable nuclear power. In the Mid East Iran has had nuclear ambitions and development may be underway. Israel is believed to already have a nuclear arsenal. The outlook for the future is clouded.

Nobody of the European or the Asian people wants a nuclear war, but they don't count for the politicians. At least it will not happen in America. You'll be safe.
