I have never enjoyed drinking water

Brings back memories of when I was little. I'd ask my mom for soda or something sweet to drink in the afternoon and she would hand me a cup of water, she followed that by saying I'd spoil my supper or rot my teeth. Never mind that supper was 5 hours away. It was then I realized I wasn't as thirsty as I thought I was. These days I usually drink ice tea when I'm thirsty.

For me, nothing quenches my thirst like water. I don't understand when there is a thirst, the drink must be sweet. Sweet doesn't work as well as water.. I guess it's what one is used to.

I never like drinking plain water, but I do like carbonated plain seltzer water and natural mineral waters.

I do enjoy plain ice water, especially in summer, when it is most important to stay hydrated. Since I am trying to cut back on soda pop, I also like some flavor. I do not care for iced tea, but I do like these drink singles. Especially the orange. It is my very favorite. Wylers also makes lemonade which is good.

I'm with you...nothing better than fresh well water. When I'm outdoors, I drink right from the hose. I keep a pitcher of well water in the fridge, and drink it when indoors. Our well water is loaded with minerals, so we have to use a water softener for the sink/shower, etc., but it sure tastes good fresh from the well...and probably a lot healthier than the stuff that flows from most utilities in the cities/towns....and certainly a lot healthier than soda pop/beer/etc.

I don't like water either, unless I'm really thirsty or doing things outside when it's hot.
I don't believe there is a set amount of water that we need; despite the "8 glasses/day" thing we've heard. Our bodies let us know when we need water. It depends on many things - temperature, activity, spicy food, etc. Some medical issues may require extra hydration - diabetes, for example. Of course, food poisoning accompanied by vomiting or diarrhea requires more water to replace what's lost to prevent dehydration.

I force myself to drink water. I have at least one 32 oz. glass a day and often 2 of them; I should drink more but sometimes feel bloated and so I don't drink more. I don't really like drinking water either, Jim, but I make myself take about 5 to 7 sips at a time and get it down. Lemon squeezed in it helps make it more appealing to me. I've heard of putting other fruit in it for appeal and may try that.

Water has always been my favorite beverage.

My fridge door has a cold water faucet on it. SO easy to get a nice cold glass of H2O.

(After all this talk, I gotta go PP. Excuse me. B e right back. Gotta zip up.)

I can drink water all day and my thirst won't be quenched.

But just one beer seems to do the trick. I have no idea why.

Coffee goes right through me. I think it's a stimulant.

I do not like sweet drinks at all.

Tap water has always nauseated me. I took up drinking bottled water years ago, but not just any brand. Even some of that has the same effect. For the past at least 15 years, I have drank either Aquafina or Deer Park.

Back when I was still flying, I kept a quart bottle of Deer Park next to me, along with a large cup of Starbucks. Like a lot of men, I can hold it for a long time.

Before now, I've never heard of anyone having an aversion to water. Did your parents never give you any? No harm meant, I'm just amazed....it's something that never even crossed my mind .

I love nice fresh filtered water with the juice of a freshly picked lemon (no added sugar)
Even in winter I drink at least two glasses of water a day

Tap water isn't good here either (CA). I use either bottled water or a "Zero Water Pitcher" with a filter. Tastes as good as bottled.

I do not either. I thought I was the only one.
My doctors tell me that flavored water is not so good
for you because it contains oxylates that can cause kidney stones.

Water was always the drink of last resort.
