Share your "senior" moments. ;)

I can’t seem to keep track of what day it is. I’m always a day ahead, lol.

My husband has left the car running a few times. We walk away and I’ll turn to him and say “are you going to turn the car off?.” Course he will say it is off. After a short discussion, he will go back to the car, see it’s running, and turn it off. I often wonder how often he leaves it running while he’s at work. He’s admitted to doing it a couple times.

Newer cars will automatically shut the engine off after 30 minutes of idling.
 

I started to go to town and when back in the house to get a bottle of water and left the engine running. The phone rang and it was sweetie and I told her I would wait and we could go together, I forgot and the engine ran until it was out of gas. I have done this twice. ( I never leave the keys in the ignition now) I have lost my truck in Walmart parking lot several times, but use key alarm to find it. Once left my brief case on top of the car, (a person saw me and followed me to return it) once left my pistol on top of truck and never did find it as I was on gravel road in the country. Most of these were when I was younger. I now rely on my cell phone as my personal secretary and google as my personal assistant, sofar so good. I lose my cell phone all the time in the house, but we stil have a land line and I call my cell to find it..:yoda: P.S. I forgot about this, my daughter bought me a wax making kit and while melting wax I forgot about it and it got so hot it burned all the wax away and the heat cause the handle to fall off. Sweetie found out what happened and hid my candle making kit. She said she did not know what happened to it..I thought someone had come in the house and took it, so I was viewing the security tape and she finally admitted she did it. So that ended my cande making.
