I'm a Virgo.
I should be meticulous. Instead I focus on keeping things just 'tidy', never spotless.
I should be intelligent. Then why do I rely so heavily on the spell-check?
I should be practical. But instead I've always been a big daydreamer.
Reliable - yes
Modest - yes
Overcritical - at times

In short, I don't think I'm anything like what a Virgo is supposed to be.
 

I'm a Pisces, and it's pretty much spot on for the most part. Sensitive, dreamy, intuitive, gentle, compassionate, humorous, easy going, etc. Even down to the feet, they describe either small and dainty, or large....I'm large for sure, lol!

Even though I don't take it seriously.....I'm a Virgo, too.....it pretty much describes me perfectly.
 

Wouldn't know, because I never read horoscopes but I do know this: whatever constellation you think is your star sign, you are probably wrong. Because of progression of the earth's axis, the sun moves into different constellations at the same time of the year over time. Where it was at the time of your birth is not necessarily where it is in 2014. Not only that but the ecliptic (apparent path of the sun across the sky) now passes through a thirteenth constellation, Ophiuchus.

When people link star signs with personalities, I challenge them to guess what sign I am based on their assessment of my character and personality. Of course I don't do this if they know my birth month. Most are completely stumped and don't try to answer. The rest have a one in twelve chance of guessing correctly. Hardly anyone ever does.

Who'd like to have a stab at it?
 
Whenever I am asked I usually say that my star sign is the Southern Cross with search lights ascending.
That is because I was born in Sydney during WW II during a night time air raid drill. It points to my geography, my generation and my history.
If I also say that my mother walked to the hospital after her waters broke, though empty streets devoid of street lights, with her sister helping her and carrying her suitcase (dad was in the army and on the other side of the continent) you will also know something of the strength of the women who raised me.

All of the above is much more significant than the position of the sun at the moment of my birth.

So, no-one else wanting to guess? Come on, it can't be all that difficult.
 
I need 12 guesses to check them against random chance. I want to see a result from all the guesses that is better than dumb luck. Since I've been posting for quite a while now, people should be able to pick my zodiac sign if there is anything to it.

Which, of course, there is not.

I've read about the changing star positions also. I was born a Virgo and pretty true to the sign. ...but maybe I'm moving closer to Libra.

Dame Warrigal, I'm going to guess that you are an Aquarius.
