I had a rubber stamp mail order business, in my home, for 13 years. I do wish I could have brought it to a Florida with me. It was an old machine and I handset all the type for the stamps. I used real rubber where as most are made of plastics now.

Sounds like that was an enjoyable business Pappy. .. I go to Hobby Lobby to pick up stamps for grandkids projects sometimes... have a few cute ones saved for greeting cards/envelopes.

I would sell cosmetics in my shop, I’ve always loved make up, and worn it from a young age, the tiniest amount of mascara and blush can brighten any face

I buy and sell a few, very few, collectibles on eBay and that is more than enough for me.

I don't really make any money but it keeps me up to date and supports the purchases I make for my own collections.

Womens under garments. I help with fittings.

My first reaction was not the greatest. But then I thought about it and your age, and I thought that how great that was because no matter how we old are., we still can have that same wonderful sexy thing feelings. It doesn't have to end. So, thank you.

I also love to read books,as Olivia posted a bookstore would be my idea of fun
I would add something else,since I love going to&watching movies,have a monthly discussion,maybe sell posters/books/movie soundtracks

Antiques and collectibles shop. No furniture, just the smaller items. I can spend hours in these stores and do have a few collections of my own.

I owned and ran the first licensed tattoo and body piercing shop in Texas. Fifteen years of my life was spent pushing ink and piercing. It was great fun, interesting, too, and I tattooed Academy Award winners and billionaires, but it almost ruined my spine because of the positions I had to assume to tattoo and pierce certain parts of the body. I got out, and took to the trees, where I remain, today. (No, I won't throw you down a banana!)

A hobby shop. I could try out all the new gizmos and latest techniques for creating beautiful crafts. Second would be a bakery, but I know I wouldn't want to get out of bed at 4 in the morning to make loaves of bread for the day.

I like watching American Pickers pink biz and all the old stuff they buy ,No furniture ..
I’m Aussie we get the program 5 days a week on channel 73 free to air

A soup kitchen

Been involved in such

I know the mechanics

And

Interesting folks
All walks
Some helping
Some gratefully dining

All, enjoying a steaming hot bowl of spicy soup on the coldest of days

Funny, even the stalest of bread tastes soooo good when sopping that last bit of savory soup

Same with conversations 'tween folks of mixed situations

Hi Gary,I also volunteered at a 'soup kitchen' every Tues morning for 5 yrs in the basement of a local church
Ours was called 'loaves&fishes',it was a very rewarding experience, you certainly got a different perspective of what it was like for them. For some it was their only meal of the day.We got to know them over the yrs,95% were very greatful we could provide either a hot/cold lunch depending on the season Sue

Yes, church situations are nice
Without that sorta affiliation it’s a bit more difficult to organize

I know Loaves & Fishes well
Good folks

I’ve been involved in many programs, some great, some not so great (lotsa bickering amongst the cadre)

If I do this, I’ll be the ramrod
I have ideas

The only thing that’s stopped me is living at the edge of civilization for the last four years

We’re moving into town

We’ll see

Since I love animals, probably a pet Bed and Breakfast, and place for pet doggies and cats to stay when their people go away on vacations, etc. I would have separate areas for cats and dogs and make sure they all were happy and loved until their owners came home. I'd personally give each and every one special hugs and attention each day and comfort them if they were fearful and insecure.

Cheesecake shop!

That would be the end of me!

I'd love to own a performance venue- a medium size theater/night spot. It would be big enough for A list entertainers, but not mega huge. I'd have a first class stage with all of the latest audio and visual effects possible. It would be cool to stage productions.

When the wife and I were stock car racing back in the 80's, and my job was paying very well, we decided to open a new and used race parts store so we could lose a bit of money for about 2 years and not have to pay so much in taxes. The idea was simple, folks who lived in the north end of the valley hated folks from the south end and vise versa. We lived in the center so, someone would leave a part with us and someone else would purchase said part and never would the 2 parties know each other. That way, no north-south rivalry. Trouble was, the store became so successful, that we ended up making a rather large profit and having to pay even more in taxes. Needless to say, after 2 years of profit, we closed the doors.
