Needing something to look foward to

I usually look forward to doing something every day and I'm happy, unless some putz looks sadly at me and asks, "Is that all you have to look forward to every day?"

I deleted my post due to my reconsideration about depression. I just need to keep my opinion to myself.
I can understand your situation a,little. When you mentioned that your cleaner visits once a week it remined me of the time I worked as a cleaner for the aged. I visited people like you in their homes and did some basic cleaning. Problem was I was not good at the listening and cheering up part. But I got a good reputation for doing good cleaning. I might do a better job now of both.

Hmmm.......I think I prefer to look backwards......the future is inevitable....

Those wonderful nights at the dancehall where I'd be twirling a beautiful girl, and then we'd stop, and she would flutter her eyes, and ever so romantically, say...."If you keep spinning me round like that luv, you'll drill an 'ole into the floor." :)

And all those fantastic camping holidays in Scotland where zillions of those wee beasties (midges) would congregate upon us, and have us for dinner.

Going to the 'flicks' (movies) on a Friday night, having a snog on the back row, then, on the way home eating fish and chips out of a paper wrapper while singing a song from the film. :)

The feeling of sitting on a motor-bike for the first time, then roaring off into the countyside, even better with a girl sat behind me with her arms around my waist.

The look of gratitude in an old lady's eyes when I handed her her little dog that I'd rescued from the river. :)

As a lad, walking out from an intervue and waiting until I'd got around the corner before jumping in the air and clicking my heels, because I'd just been given the job. :)

Now if it were possible for me to do it all again, I'd definitely be looking forward... :)
