New To The Forum Family.....

Hello all.....just joined. My name is Wendy and I am looking forward to strolling around the Forum and making new friends here. I am retired and really enjoying all the free time! I am keeping busy with playing my Harp for residents of the local Nursing Homes and Hospice centers and also at my Church every now and then. I am on the hunt for a new little furry buddy to keep me company. I haven't had a dog for many years so I am starting to search the animal shelters for that special friend. :)

Welcome. You will find this is a great place, full of neat people. What you do with the harp sounds great. Bet the people you play for love it. When my husband was in a nursing home before he passed, he was not able to get out of his room much. But the high point of his day was when the volunteer came around with a therapy dog. He loved the visits.

As I said I was late to welcome her because I wasn't around, she just posted again, so I just noticed she was a member here. If she introduced herself at the same time this year, I'd be gone again.

if you look at the date Toffee, Harp Angel joined in 2018... :D some of us welcomed her then, but the confusion comes because Seabreeze hadn't see Harp Angel's intro post until a year later in 2019 when HA, had really started to post elsewhere on the forum.. so when SB welcomed HP, with apologies for not noticing her before, others ''welcomed'' her , not realising it was a year old post!!
 
Oh Dear.....I think I caused this confusion myself! After I had joined I had a traumatic event in my life and didn't come back to the forum until just recently. So sorry for the confusion I caused. But thank you for the nice welcomes everybody....then and now! 🙂
