Those prescription bottles are handy for storing small items such as buttons, pins, screws, bolts, etc.
To take the label off. Some glues are different than others.
Previously I would put them in the freezer and the labels would peel right off easily.
They must have changed the glue on the labels at my pharmacy.
Now what I do is fill the bottle nearly full with water and leaving the cap off put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. The glue softens and the label peels right off easily.
Caution use oven mitts and dump the water first. Then peel.
