Thanks for your welcome> I envy you! you live in LA. I have 3 step brothers who live in communities near to Los Angeles. so much rich beauty where you are and I hear the people are unlike any other place in America. They are uniquely wonderful.

This has been my favorite LA song for years, Even though it was recorded in the early 1980's it still works

Thank you for your kind words about my adopted home of Los Angeles - I moved here in my late teeens. Most people are not as generous in their opinions. Southern California is a wonderfully diverse area with respect to population and geography. We have our share of problems, as does any large city, but it truly is an interesting, charming place to live.

Randy Newman is a treasure. Love his stuff. "I Love LA" has become our city's theme song, just as "New York, New York" has become NY's.
