My husband and I own an alpaca/goat/sheep/livestock guardian dog farm in Oregon. We also have a yarn store called Knitty Gritty Yarn Store. We have a growing group of ladies who have been coming to our store get-together every Wednesday night. Some of these ladies are creating soft sleep hats and day hats for cancer patients in infusion centers in Lebanon and Albany, Oregon. We are looking for any volunteers for creating hats for bald people,to cheer them up with love and bright colors. :love_heart:
We are using patterns from Knots of Love patterns on Ravelry.

I think lots of people do that for the cancer and different venues in their own country..
the hospitals they are using wedding dresses now and making them up for little still borns to
be buried in and they make cabbage patch dolls bonnets.. vests and booties for premmie babies..
so every little bit helps , I agree that prob was a commercial..

Ina, this may be a commercial??

How about a nice 'Hi' first, and how are you? when signing on to the board ... :)

Seems more people are signing on lately with an agenda. Good cause or not, I don't like all the pushing we are seeing ...
This is a good forum, and doesn't need people who only are here for their own personal cause..

Same here, Rainee; I have stopped greeting newbies; some seem to have their own agenda....
