Biscuits with sausage and gravy

I made biscuits ( frozen), cooked sausage patties and enough gravy to cover them. Broke biscuits and sausage into small bits in separate containers, covered with gravy and put in the freezer. Put one in the microwave for about a minute and breakfast is ready.
Oooh, that's to die for! My breakfast won't be nearly as yummy.

tell what do u mean by biscuits for breakfast with savoury stuff '' we only eat biscuits with coffee /tea ?
We do indeed, and the biscuits are often covered in chocolate.. however I understand those 'merican folks, like to have a ''biscuit'' similar to our scone but not sweet which they cover in something they call a gravy which isn't like our beef gravy at all..

Bake some home style biscuits. Make the white gravy in a package adding butter for flavor. Break up some raw pork sausage and fry in a skillet. When cooked add the sausage to the gravy and stir then pour over the biscuits that have been open in to equal halves. A child could do it.

OMG..sorry folks but that looks like oatmeal made with greasy pork..., not sure I'd want to try it tbh... but I Will give it a go at some point just so I can say I've tried it. Wish there was American restaurants here, I could try it there instead..
Anyway RR.. you're slippin; mi chica, where's the biscuits recipe.. , and do you pour that concoction over the biscuits or dip them in? :p

@hollydolly I can't make southern style biscuits. I looked online at Tesco and Amazon UK for Pillsbury Grands- or any chilled biscuit dough, but couldn't find. Maybe someone here can help with a biscuit recipe.
ah, you posted at the same time as me..:D. no we wouldn't have any ready dough in tesco et al..for that !!.. I could make scones but I remember being told that altho' your biscuits look like scones they're a completely different texture.. so I want to get it right and taste it authentically..

ETA..ooh I just noticed that you've posted the biscuit recipe.. cheers m'dear, but sorry to be awkward, do I have to use Buttermilk?.. I get terrible GERD with buttermilk..

No,@hollydolly I only posted the sausage gravy-no biscuit recipe. Yes, our biscuits are more tender than scones.

No, you don't need to use buttermilk. I know at least that much.

Actually I wouldn't mind trying Biscuits and gravy American style if anyone would like to post a really good recipe...
I've been buying frozen biscuits from Walmart. Not the refrigerated ones. These are in the freezer and you can use just 1 or 2 or any amount. Much better than Grands and just as good as what I can make. For gravy use 1 tablespoon flour and 1 tablespoon bacon grease or other fat ( oil, lard, butter) for each 1/2 cup of milk. I normally use 3 tablespoons of bacon grease and flour with 1 1/2 cups of milk for just the two of us. Put the bacon grease in the skillet( I've been using a wok) over medium high heat. put 1/2 the milk and the flour in a jar with a lid and shake until mixed. When the skillet is hot add the milk/flour mixture and whisk to keep lump from forming. cook for 2 or 3 minutes until it starts to turn color.( It's hard to describe the color of gravy). Add the rest of the milk . Bring to a boil until it starts to thicken. Serve as is or add crumbled sausage or bacon.

We in the U.S. have an item call Bisquick. Follow directions on package for great biscuits. No brainer.
