Internet headaches- like those Ad blocker apps for newspaper stories.

There are some headaches associated with the internet. One is having your password rejected, when you know, with out a doubt, that your password is correct. And one of the others is here in this forum. Our fellow Forum-ites posts a link to a news story. BUT, when you click on it the story is blocked by the news org, because you have an ad blocker. They want you to disable it. That irks me. I don't want all kinds of unwanted ads on my screen. And you don't known what is being sent to you as an "ad". Plus I don't know how to turn the damn thing off.

I don't post links often but when I do, I try to put enough info in the post that someone can initiate access to the articles on their own if interested.

I rarely use links that strangers have posted. One never knows what lurks behind them.

That's the way the mop flops, Fuzzy. Ads or no ads; your choice. Someone has to pay for the Internet, so it may as well be advertisers.

BTW if a site won 't load because you have an ad blocker, read the instructions to disable it for that site.

When 'quoting' from a news story or article on the Internet, a link to the information should always be posted.
Whether or not you look at it is your choice.

Another thing that irks me, I have a really long list of those things. I'm easily irked. I find it here in this F. It's PWUHMA. MySHEB uses them all the time. You know "JK" stands for, but the rest of the universe doesn't.
BTW it's "Forum", "People Who Use Home Made Abreviations,", and Sister's Husband's Exwive's Brother".
