Not a debate on reincarnation....

I believe its a given....the soul/spirit of who we are never ceases or dies no matter what realm we enter after each physical death....put me on any other planet than this with higher spiritual values over physical importance.....could life here just be an 'experience' to live out, for those who come back many, many times with different circumstances? hmmm.....

That's what I meant about it depends on my choices. Standard Christian description of hell or a complete cessation of existence? I'll take another turn at life, please. Standard Christian version of heaven? I'll stay put, please. Other galaxies or dimensions? Sounds interesting.

I'm with you Charry... I pray this will be my last time, too much suffering has made me want to never return if it was at all possible . I'm sure people who've had a wonderful life might have a different view

I would not want to go down the same path..however, I am very blessed but getting where I am in life has not been a picnic to say the least and still a work in progress...but nonetheless, blessed and grateful. However, although I am very grateful, not sure if I would want to go down the same path.. But not sure where a different path will lead me. So my final word on it... SURPRISE ME as long as I am HAPPY, HEALTHY, WEALTHY AND WISE - I can eat drink (my wine) and be merry. And keep my awesome sense of humor.... 😂
 
I don't think it's choice thing as a soul thing. My soul will come back and I will have the souls of my "loved ones" come back too. I have lessons to learn in this life and future lives so I will keep coming back until I have learned the lessons needed to move to the next level.

So sorry to hear you had/have a lot of suffering in your life.. Suppose your new life took you down a different path with more happiness than suffering?

It depends on where a person is in their present life. I agree, for some, once is enough.

YES to coming back.
BUT, with a much healthier body and after humans have progressed enough scientifically to prevent and stop all this absurd physical suffering.
Physical suffering serves no purpose and prevents people from making great advances, being the best they can be, enjoying life and growing as people and as a race ..it just stagnates and hinders everything!
