Would you want to live to the age of 100?

Live, Laugh and Love
I am not sure because at that age, I would see several of my loved ones pass away. However, as long as I am in my right mind, still can enjoy life as best I can and not suffer when I pass on, I will welcome 100. At the end of my time, I would like to be in my rocking chair, knowing this has been a good ride...with a smile on my face...listening to my favorite song...YES!!

100? Nope. I'm watching my own parents, in their mid 90s, decline rapidly. One has lots of physical pain, the other has lost most memories. At 90 they were both doing okay. Max for me would be mid to late 80s. And I hope to go out by being shot in the back by a jealous husband...

I MUST live to 92 so that my youngest cats are old enough to pass on, I don't want them to be orphans, they will be too old for anyone to adopt them. Hopefully my willpower will be enough to keep me alive until then. Doubt it, though, my father and his mother were the longest lived in my close family and they only made it to 82 and I am 77. I'll wait and see how things turn out.

Don't know

So far, I've been able to enjoy life to the max, in any capacity.....including being incarcerated

But, from here on out, I've instructed my grandkids to take care of me if and when I go demented;

It's an Of Mice and Men thing
Take me to the side of a stream, or on a beach near the surf
Set me up with some Pink Floyd....Shine on You Crazy Diamond would be good
Leave me a jug of single malt
A generous bag of quality weed
...and some munchies
When I get that far off sappy grin on my mug, take a size 42 Louisville Slugger
and swing for the fences......thru the back of my skull

Another almost 40 years?.... hmmmmm... I don't think so, not unless I had a big caring family to take care of me if I needed it, or if I was relatively healthy, which I doubt I would be....

If I don't die of an illness or accident before then and ultimately live my life out naturally, I'm expecting to die around the same age as my grandmother, and my father which was early 80's.. I hope a little longer but I'm expecting it to be that.. but otherwise 100 ?..not unless in the next 4 decades they bring out some better health care for seniors...

That said have you ever seen this continuing video story.. of the 2 sisters one is 105 now and the other in her late 90's..they're very funny.. but they've lived long lives in their own homes because they have a caring family

This is one of the first videos the family made of their grandma and aunt ginga.. when grandma was 101, and aunt was 96..
