Paying For A Phone I Don't Have

When checking my account with Bell yesterday I noticed that I have a phone # and it is not my cell phone.

Promptly called Bell to be told that indeed I do have a landline listed on my account. They must have snuck that one in when I moved and changed my service to all in one.

Now this is what I find ridiculous, if I take the landline off my bill then my bill for the rest of the services will be higher.....go figure.

My rant for the day. Wonder if anyone is calling that phone :D

Do you know your number?

yeah, and I called it.....just keeps ringing and ringing.....too darn funny :p

think maybe I should get a landline phone since I have to pay for it for the next two years, they tacked long distance on too

We have to be alert for ALL phone company ripoffs (as well as all utility companies). Bell isn't the only one.
I have AT&T. They added long-distance phone calls I never made on my bill - always the same number. I didn't notice it for a couple of months. After arguing with them for 30 minutes & speaking to a supervisor, they refunded me, but I cancelled my long-distance service. A few years before that, they added $8.00 worth of extras I didn't ask for. I didn't notice it until I looked at my bill in detail.
They know most people won't read each page of their bill - which is intentionally complicated.

You must not be home, then!

I thought I'd help you out, by telling you.
:ROFLMAO:

arghghghg! I agree with your later post, then. You might as well get a phone to go with "your" number, since the package price is cheaper than the individual ones you actually have. o_O

Modern life has become rather bizarre, indeed!

Who would be "They" and how would they gain??
Obviously they are AT&T. Obviously, they gain by making extra money from people who don't check their bill in details & complain about unauthorized charges.
