Ooooh That Smell

The first smell of the ground thawing out in the spring
Lilacs in the spring
Woodsmoke at anytime
Steak on the bbq
Fresh laundry drying on the line
Summer rain
Any fresh water lake in the summer
Pine trees in the hot humid weather
Apples in the fall
Wet leaves in the fall
Really cold winter air when someone is cooking roast beef
Cannabis - my nose wants to follow
Citris zest essential oil (Body Shop) which I can duplicate as they don't sell it anymore...sigh...

When I was in school I used to love the smell of fresh ditto copies that were used for various handouts, tests, etc...

Yankee Candles. I love there tarts, different scents for different seasons. Burning leaves for Fall, Balsam n Cedar for Christmas, Macintosh Apple brings me back to the time when we took the girls apple picking, just too many to name. I love candles n I think Yankee has the strongest scent.

The aroma of creosote soaked pier or dock timbers heated by the sun and mixed with the smell of saltwater.

Another vote for Cherry Blend pipe tobacco. Although it isn't my favorite vintage blend, I always have some on hand for my 50's vintage Kaywoodie pipes
Those are the type of pipes my dad used.
