Oh yes, our new Bichon puppy is almost 5 months old now and is keeping us very, very busy.
She loves our 11 year old Bichon to the point that the older dog just wishes she could be left alone.
She loves the 18 year old cat and flirts with her at every opportunity. She does a funny little dance for the cat.
She chews on everything. Finds things to taste every time she goes into the backyard to potty.
And she loves her toys and drags them all over the house. We have had many dogs, but never one that loves toys like this one.

Oh, yes you are going to be busy, but the entertainment and love is always worth it.

Oh, what an adorable fur-face she is!

Puppies can be the very devil to deal with. The last time we had a young dog, we had a rectangular coffee table when we went to bed and had an oval coffee table when we woke up. Yep, he had chewed all four corners of the table clean off. I think he was a border collie/beaver mix. No piece of wood was safe from him for quite a while.
