JaniceM you had a good idea but people went crazy from the start.
An example of what I meant- a question perhaps someone might know the answer to:
Landlord went too far with pest control spray. Would anyone know a safe, effective way to remove it from dishes/pots&pans, etc.?
All I could find online was baking soda- didn't work. Web says bleach won't, either. I really don't want to throw away all these items, but don't know how to clean them so they'd be safe to use again.
A home-remedy I heard years ago: vodka. Spray it on the calking, let it sit 30 minutes, and wipe it off. If there's a lot of mold you might need to repeat the process. How can you get mold out from under clear silicone tub calking without removing and replacing? I would try a harsh cleaner like bleach or peroxide, but the tub is painted and the surround is a surface that bleach can't be used on.
Have you tried vinegar in a spray bottle? What is the best way to control weeds in rocked areas or sidewalk cracks without using chemicals? I've used vinegar and salt, but it's a hassle, I usually end up pulling them by hand, lot of work.
Is there a particular time of day that you use it? Intuitively, using it before right before bedtime seem like it might add to the problem.Move your dinner back to your regular time and buy this (Amazon). This stuff is all natural and will knock out heartburn in a minute or less. It really, really works. I like vinegar,so don`t mind the taste. If you don`t like vinegar,it might be tough but it`s only a swig.

Is there a particular time of day that you use it?I agree with Mrs. Robinson. Raw Apple Cider Vinegar was the only thing that killed my reflux. I now use it every day on a lettuce salad. Pills quit working and I was at my wits end until I tried it. Hope it works for you.
In the afternoon with my dinner. Is there a particular time of day that you use it?
Blackened bananas are a real treat, if you can get past supposed normal perceptions.Yow! I get instant heartburn even looking at ripe bananas! Everyone's different, though.
To whom are you speaking Carol? I'm confused. So your title says "practical" but your focus seems to be more in the spiritual area. Practical, to me, means real world. Spiritual is other worldly. Do they ever intersect? Possibly. But your spirituality and someone else's may be altogether different. I think you have an entirely different and personal agenda. But whatever. I don't trust you.
I do not do well with bananas of any color, unfortunately. As a kid, I loved them, and they loved me. Somewhere along the line, the magic died, for us.......Blackened bananas are a real treat, if you can get past supposed normal perceptions.
The original poster. #1? I'm not sure, either. To whom are you speaking Carol? I'm confused.
Every dog I have ever known was a superb conversationalist on a hike. You can tell them anything and they give you that look "No Sh_t, I did not know that. You must be a genius!"My pets obviously appreciate my talking to them. They also enjoy watching tv. Believe it or not, animals do like the sound of human voices.
Thanks. In the afternoon with my dinner.

Yes, please. Inquiring minds want to know. The original poster. #1? I'm not sure, either.

No Janice we know it wasn't you. That's why I asked whom Carol was addressing.A couple of people on page 3 said you were addressing this to me? If so, hopefully there are questions (mine & other people's) on p. 3 that will clarify what I meant.
I don't know why you think MY focus is 'in the spiritual area,' as that's a topic I have no interest in. Nor do I have any 'agendas.' Geez.
MY question was: is there a safe, effective way to get pest control chemicals off household products used for cooking/eat/food-storage, etc. Someone answered. That's what I meant by Practical questions, & couldn't find an answer on the web.
Not exactly reviews, but there's a thread on books you are currently reading in the Entertainment section.Put 2 different questions on original page,, didn't want to take up space here.
Orginal question still wants to know is there a book review section here?
Yes ignore most everything but rattling in cupboards, opening of cans, and crinkling of treat bags.
