People that turn off their phones

I have a cousin that turns off his phone on Sunday. Do you know anyone else that does this?

Yes, me. I turn off my phone quite often. I prefer texts to calls.

My phone is always off unless I'm in the car going some place. Since wife's computer is always on, there isn't any problem having the family get hold of us. The rest of the world can kiss off. I have a phone for my convenience, not some robo advertising call.

I don't turn the phone off, but I turn the ringer off. I like to be able to get messages.

My flip phone is off unless I am going somewhere and expect to need it. Generally it is turned off for weeks at a time.

No but I wish I did ! Some of my friends are slaves to their phones, it makes me wonder how they managed before with just a landline...

I turn the ringer off if I'm at the doctors surgery (office) or an important meeting ... or if I'm at home and having an afternoon nap. I never actually turn the phone off...

I turn my ringer off every evening before bedtime.
And about once every couple weeks I turn my iPhone off at bedtime to clear things out and update.

I turn mine off and quite often forget to turn it on for several days.

It may sound rude but I carry a telephone for my convenience and am not overly concerned about being available to others 24/7.

Mine is off unless I'm going somewhere alone or expecting a text, which is rare. Very few people have my number. The phone is for my convenience. I do stick it in my pocket when I walk to the mailbox, but it stays off. I still have a land line.

Mostly on, what's the point of having a cell if not to make use of it.

I do have a land line hookup but no phone hooked up to it, just have not gotten around to buying one yet.

The only time mine's off is when I'm updating the iOS or solving a glitch. It's mostly on vibrate, and most of the time I have my AirPods in my ears so that I'm hands free.

They're not. Not in spec homes anyway. Ron's in the business, and it's just not happening any more. Cable and internet hookups yes, landline phone hookups no, unless specifically requested by the client if it's not a spec home.

Ken, Fibe is what I have. One external box which is connected to a glass tubing coming from the wall and somehow getting the signal from something buried under the lawn.

Don't ask me how it works but it controls internet, phone and you can watch tv from either. And a landline plugs into the box also.
