Next question - when a vaccine does come out, how many people will actually get it? Based on SF responses to flu vaccination threads, I'd bet a lot of folks will refuse the vaccine in the hope that herd immunity will work in their favor.

No way. Encephalitis was enough for me, and I was pretty young then. Thought it was going to take me out.

I doubt I would do medical experiment for pay period regardless of disease. If people want to do that fine. If I got really really really desperate and a doc offered a treatment still considered experimental I might consider it.

You would think that they would have a sufficiently large group of non-volunteers available given the way this is spreading.
