If Expecting Today, Would You Want to Know the Gender of Your Baby Beforehand?

When I first heard about this option, I thought it was unnatural, and felt that people should not want to know the sex of their baby before they had it. Then, I started thinking if it were me, I would be too curious not to have the test done. I think I heard something about the test being wrong at times, and people being disappointed that they didn't get what they expected.

If you were to be expecting today, would you want to know the sex of your baby beforehand? Why or why not? :turnaround:

No, I wouldn't want to know. It would take away some of the excitement for me personally.

Used to enjoy the 'guessing game' back in the day .... lol .. people would always say you could tell by your shape back then (60's) .. tummy high, tummy low, more out or down, etc., etc.... I was fine with all of that..:)

I did go with my daughter for her ultrasounds when she was pregnant. .. they seem to encourage the sonograms now.

I had my three daughters in the 70, 74 and 76, before scans were routine. I am not sure that I would wish to know the sex of my offspring before birth.
