Dollar General opens stores to seniors only to protect against Coronavirus..

Hi Marci - I'm in Ohio and there is a store about 3 miles from me. I think they are doing it nationwide. Also, our governor and health dept. cancelled in-person voting yesterday. I think it was a great move, since almost all of our voting site workers are seniors - and I was frankly afraid to go.

I've been doing all my shopping online and staying in. Parents are in their 70s and they've been staying in but, they don't have online services in the small town they live in. I worry about them.
 
I think it could go bad quickly,there's lots of jobs being lost,people are going to get desperate...
Old people are very vulnerable to muggings,robberies etc.
Many Dollar Generals are in very rural areas,meaning it could take the police a lot longer to respond...
Just my opinion.
