That's tragic. No-one is to blame for what is happening. If we look at history, plagues and pestilence have had a major effect on life in the past. This current crisis may change the way we do things globally.

I think that because of his area of expertise, he knew the aftermath is going to be bad. Right now we're focused on the pandemic. But in the long term, the potential for a worldwide depression and attendant social disorder is pretty high.
