Hi everyone, my name is Lee and I am from a little town outside of Windsor, Ontario. Name of the town don't really matter cause it's sooooo small you can't find it on a map :D

Admit to snooping on this forum the last couple of days and saw what I liked and so decided to stop snooping and join in. Nice to see discussion in a friendly way not confrontation.

A little about me, I'm a cat lover, like dogs too but have contented myself with being Auntie to all the neighborhood doggies. My Rocky has put his paw down and demanded we be a cat household only and his pal Ranger seconded the motion.

I'm a reader if you can call trashy romance novels reading but on occasion I will take a break and read something with a little more weight to it....heavy books :D

I live in a quiet little burg, enjoy my garden which has given me considerable less enjoyment since discovering that a snake also enjoys my garden too....this of course forced me to stop going barefooting.

I like to share and my neighbors are now the recipients of my caring to share.....I drop off zuccini in the dead of night on their doorsteps.

Love watching the birds too and provide them with top quality restaurant fare.

Anyhow that's all I can think of at the moment, other than to say I am glad I came across this nice place while googling senior forums.....lee

 Hi Lee and :welcome: to our forum.

I'm vaguely familiar with your location; having lived in Detroit and driving back and forth to visit kin in Buffalo.
I remember St. Thomas ( where Jumbo the elephant is buried.) Tilsonburg etc.

Dropping off zucchini in the dead of night is the ONLY way to get of the darn stuff. Why do we even bother planting
it when we can buy only what we need in the store?
Anyway, glad you're here.

Hello Lee, That was my mother's name, well nickname actually, short for Leola. My name is Ina and I live in Texas. Hubby and I have four dogs, and maybe two more soon. I use to do a lot of things, but now most of my time is spent reading, and keeping up with my fellow forum friends. Hope you like it here and you decide to play with us when your not in your garden. :hatoff:

Hi Lee, happy you're here! I'm a cat and dog lover, have one of each. I can relate to the zucchini, have to do that at night, LOL!

Meanderer.....too funny that pic as it does indeed bear a striking resemblance to my Rocky even down to the little white chinny chin chin. Only difference, if I tried to put that get up on my guy he would not have any of it. And I have tried, I do make dog clothes for friends and tried to use Rocky as a model....he was NOT impressed.

Ralphy....fan of the king....notice the lower case "k" and that gives you my answer, winkin

Welcome Lee, Please don't leave any zucchini on my back porch because I've got more than
I can use. I've sauteed them with onions and mushrooms, have made zucchini loaves, chocolate zucchini
cakes, muffins and every way I can think of to use them up. I know they can be made into pickles but
I'm not doing that because I am tired of making pickles for this year. :)

:welcome:
