Anyone Here Use A Shower Water Filter?

Surfing the internet I stumbled over water filters for shower heads so I am wondering if anyone her has used one. I had never even heard of them.
 

We had one, and liked it. Not all water everywhere is great (and, if not, that's what you're showering in), but being able to filter not-so-great water is truly wonderful. It really did feel better.
 
I understand the need for water filters for drinking water, but could care less about the water coming out of the shower. If that's the case why not get a whole house water filtration system.

Please enlighten me dog man.

Well usually you are using hot water and that along with soap would sanitize the water so I don't understand what a filter would do.

I would not get one....
 
When we had this new home built, we had a main filtering system installed right at the line where it enters the home. We also have an electric pressure equalizer that keeps the pressure equal throughout the house, even if someone flushes the toilets or is using the washing machine.
 
When we lived in Las Vegas, you could smell "sewer" in the water, including the bath, shower and sinks. This, of course, didn't happen in the casinos -- just in the non-casino parts of town. I wasn't wanting to try to "soap away" the sewer smell. Where there's smell, there's ...

Hmmmm, I was tempted to move to Las Vegas after I saw how little a nice house costs. Maybe that's why it costs less to live there.
I ain't gonna complain any more.
