Hello Lady and Hollydolly,
We lived for about a year in Gt. Yarmouth, and for a couple of years on the Essex-Suffolk border in a village north of Colchester called Ardleigh. Our local, however, was just up the road in Suffolk in Stratford St. Mary. We also kept a sailboat in West Mersea and spent much of our free time sailing up and down the East Coast and in and out of all those scenic rivers. I shall never forget all the Thames barges at Pinmill!

Love your photo of the narrow boat, Lady. I've often thought that if I returned to the UK it would be to live on a boat in the Norfolk Broads.
 

Oh. And I should say I love St. Paul's and worship there whenever I'm in London...there or the Abby or the Templer church at the Inns of Court.

Eltrippe ive been to Gt Yarmouth many a time and a couple of years ago we did the Norfok Broads and went on The Mississippi paddle boat , that was so good,then wehired a power boat for a couple of hours that was fun ,
 
Once while living in England and once since we have spent a week in a hired boat cruising the Broads. Idyllic!
