Many of you will remember these pictures from Mountfitchet castle the Roman Fortification near my home, and my visit there last year Easter weekend.. but I just want to say, in this general discussion thread, just how much things have changed in just 12 months ..and how we could never possibly have know what was ahead of us, as we walked around this open air museum with hardly a care .. In many ways it seems like a very long time ago... and yet we've only been in lock-down less than a month...

Have you got any photos that you took around 12 months ago....maybe with family you're not allowed to see or places you can no longer visit... and it seems like a very long time ago?

We had Easter dinner at my house with my daughter and her family but I can't seem to find any pics. Seems like ages ago. Even Christmas seems like a long time ago.

So much has happened since the beginning of the year it's hard to credit that we're only in April... and the things we were doing 12 months ago...seem so much longer as not least because we're missing being with people... mixing and having fun, and not jumping back from people like they're about to pull a gun on us, for fear they're going to sneeze or cough on us..

It was a beautiful few days surrounding my birthday.. and we went out on the river in a little motor boat ... (not our narrow boat)... and sailed sedately up river for an hour or 2... many of you will remember these photos from last year

During this particular week we were also remodelling the garden...and many other things when hubs had weekends off... ..looking back at all the pictures from the last 12 months I can't believe we achieved so much, went so many places including 2 trips abroad...

..and these pictures above were just this exact same period 12 months ago, taken on one day

C'mon folks, show us some of your pics from what you were up to 12 months ago.... lets cheer ourselves up and remember what's waiting for us again when this is all over

My youngest granddfurkid, also taken this time 12 months ago, is asking nicely and will share her treat with you....
