Which is most important to you?

Freedom is fine but often constrained by Love, money, security and health (or the lack thereof). The first four things are not a concern to me, but as I approach 70, maintaining good health becomes more important. I'm glad to be British.

FREEDOM!

Also I wouldn't mind having the wealth to better enjoy that freedom! But to me true freedom would include financial prosperity because these days you are not really free without money. So freedom covers more than one base. :giggle:

I would say health, at any age, poor health dosn’t discriminate so freedom is pointless unless you are well enough to enjoy it

Freedom, money, security are all obtainable if you have your health and strength

FREEDOM

Husband and I are vets, son’s a vet, dads a vet, grandmother on dads side is a vet, both granddads on moms side are vets, lots of uncles are vets. One was at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked, an uncle, he was never the same, PTSD. Korea, of course.

In fact, we trace out veteran history of military service, to the US, back to the American Indian wars and have great grandparents who flight on both sides of the civil war. Family said we had someone serve with Washington at Delaware.

Freedom, ours and yours. You are all welcome. 😍

Which is more important to you of the following?
FREEDOM
LOVE
MONEY/SECURITY
HEALTH
Why?

I kinda like 'em all

Not so sure about more important, but least important for me would be Money/Security
…….and I mean lots of money, not just a few $100K
I'd prolly go nuts trying to keep it, and other's mitts off it
Earning it is much more fun

A lot of members wrote, "freedom". I have often wondered what that word meant. I'm not sure what we are "free" from. You don't have the freedom to not pay taxes, nor to even park wherever you want. We have constraints on almost everything we do. Yes, you can choose to be a millionaire or ditch digger, marry etc; but are they "freedoms", or is it others just don't care? How can you be truly"free", whatever that means, in an orderly, civilized society?

Health and Love. Freedom and Money are only good if you are able to enjoy them and everyone needs to love and be loved.

Lucky me I have love and freedom with enough money. My wife and I both could use a big dose of better health

Try living in North Korea, you will learn about the meaning of freedom there.

Interesting, but by freedom,we don't mean without self discipline; we have the freedom not to be kept citizens,, not to barter incentive for a tole, to not trade our dignity for a hand out, We don't cower to any earthly master or organization nor bend to any threat. We can stand tall, erect, alone and be ourselves and know that our decisions are of our own making.
i just realized I used "WE" and should have used "I". No one wants me to speak for them.
