I don't mind staying home as much as a lot of people do. I just don't like staying home because I'm told I have to. I guess my first thing will be to go to LA and visit our kids.
just buy a shaver and do it yourself, that's what my o/h has been doing.. he reckons he'll never go back to the barber after thisI want to replace my #1 with GET A HAIRCUT!!!!!!
I agree, I don't think we will ever live in the same way again as we all have been used to till now..I think a lot of things will change...When I think of 'the future', my mind wanders more to the lives of the grandkids, and how things will go from here forward for them.
.. how things happening this year will change the course of their lives.
I don't understand why he needs a fig leaf.Ladies, PLEASE, do NOT imagine this, I just did and now need to go and have a lie down in a darkened room.......![]()
I have very curly hair, almost Afro at one point in my life. My only self-option would be to go the Yul Brynner route. I've thought of doing this at least once anyway. It just doesn't seem right that I've never seen my own scalp.just buy a shaver and do it yourself, that's what my o/h has been doing.. he reckons he'll never go back to the barber after this
Go ahead and do it... you'll never get a better time in your life to do it than now, when no-one will see you until it grows back again... and if you're like most men, that it'll only take a couple of weeks..I have very curly hair, almost Afro at one point in my life. Yeh, I'm an anomaly among the men in my family. They all had receding hairlines/nearly bald on top at a pretty young age. I'm a few weeks shy of 66 and my hair is still annoyingly thick and grows back like grass in the springtime.Go ahead and do it... you'll never get a better time in your life to do it than now, when no-one will see you until it grows back again... and if you're like most men, that it'll only take a couple of weeks..![]()
Someone on another forum posted a question asking what worries do we have and which of those do we consider silly (not verbatim). Do you think that additional worrying comes with the age?I'm looking forward to letting go of the constant worry and stress over every little thing in my day to day life.
I know that half of my concern is foolish but not knowing which half is beginning to take its toll.
snap Pecos, i had one last friday i got the previous one in India, i am also waiting radio-therapy which has been suspended for two months because of the virus... good luck buddyI am pretty tired of the restrictions and look forward to being able to move about more. I was already dealing with
the effects of hormone cancer treatment therapy which includes hot flashes, and serious fatigue. The stay at home order just piles on and eliminates all incidental local travel. For me these two inconveniences are running simultaneously. The hormone therapy will affect me until about August of 2021, so I have a long way to go on that. Hopefully this COVID-19 will be long gone by then.
The radiation portion of my treatment lasted nine weeks with treatments five days a week. Part of it was a bit unpleasant, but I was amazed at the efficiency of our local cancer treatment center.snap Pecos, i had one last friday i got the previous one in India, i am also waiting radio-therapy which has been suspended for two months because of the virus... good luck buddy
