Woman who posted video punching her dog with boxing gloves faces animal cruelty investigation

The link does not show the video, but the investigators state: “The Idaho Humane Society works to protect all animals from abuse,” the society said in its statement.

“We also believe that because domestic animals are a product of human intervention, we have a very special obligation to them in regard to humane treatment and responsible stewardship.”

I liked this because they used the word "stewardship." It is one of my favorite words, as noted on an Earth Day post.

We owe our domestic animals the very best of care that we can provide. They are dependent on us! We are totally responsible for their care, safety, and happiness.

Those who neglect such responsibility should be punished. Those who abuse their pets should be imprisoned, in my opinion.
 
I watched the video and it is a joke that the dog was in any way hurt. She is a lightweight with very large boxing gloves and she hits like she has never thrown a punch in her life. The dog responds as if it were a flea on its nose. To all that want to hang her watch the video.
No punishment and no fine. Nothing. Get over it. To all animal lovers speak your piece as to eat cows, lambs, pigs, deer, chicken and fish. Anyone ever kill a mouse or rat in your home? If so, then turn your self in to the proper authorities!!!!!!!!!!

I respectfully disagree with you.

I watched the video, and for those who believe such actions towards any animal is acceptable, shame on them, and double-shame on the individual laughing in the background, presumably the one doing the filming.

We live in a demented world.
