...sure it has some of the best crime dramas from Blue Bloods, Wire, NCIS and CSI to landmark science fiction series like Star Trek and Enterprise but what good is great content if it takes 90 minutes to watch a 45 minute show?

It is possible it was just me and my Roku streaming system but I don't think so because the same episodes of Blue Bloods that I “tried” to watch on 'cbs all access' I also switched to Amazon Prime and they streamed perfectly. The cbs stream either had the video freezing and the dialogue still running or if you tried to fast forward through a scene it would crash the Roku.

...and since they do not refund your money even if you cancel within 24 hours my advice get the Roku and sign up for Amazon.

I tried CBS All Access twice and cancelled it each time. How dare they charge for that service. I subscribe to Hulu Plus for about twice the price but I get to watch several of my shows, including all seasons Blue Bloods (I'm in season 2) commercial free. That means a 60 minute show runs for about 41-42 minutes. Personally Amazon is my least favorite streaming service because their content is so limited (for my taste anyway) but I get Amazon Prime free courtesy of my Metro PCS for upgrading my plan.

I agree with you 'OneEyedDiva' that Amazon has a very limited library plus the first few seasons of a series may be free and all the sudden they want their $1.99/episode but i am sharing Amazon and can not afford the more expensive streaming companies.

Yes..another thing I dislike about Amazon is that they list seasons of the shows in separate spots which to me is odd. Their interface is better now than it used to be but it can still get confusing sometimes.

I used to have CBS All Access but I had problems with it too. I cancelled it.
