I just went on the web and read that lots of banks refuse coins of any denomination.
I don't get it? What's next...no paper money under $20???

I would say blunderbuss, better spread. A 50 is more of a point weapon hitting specific target. The blunderbuss is a great

After a bit of research, loading coins (dimes) in a plastic shot cup would work best. These would not go far or have deep , but I figure it would cut a crowd down. Are blunderbuss legal?

My grandma had a very old metal bank. She use to keep it in her dresser drawer. 
On the back it says "Durable Toy and Nov. Co. It is about 4 1/2" X 5". It is small but holds quite a bit. I keep the key on top.

we keep change ( silver and coppers) in leather boxes the size of shoe boxes.. the last time we counted them there was over £500 if I remember rightly.. they were tremendously heavy to pick up, and took forever to count ( we don't have the rolls you all speak of ).. annoyingly the bank only takes a maximum of 5 bags of no more than £25 at a time.. even if we're paying into our own accounts, so it meant several trips to the bank.

Coinstar machines at least in my area will allow you to take the full value of the coins you deposit in the form of gift certificates that they print out on the spot; there's no fee for processing your coins if you opt for this. So I get an Amazon or Lowe's credit slip, and I'm good to go. I think that there's a minimum dollar amount for the coins that you put in to use this option, but I usually reach it...
