Under the terms of the deal, which is still pending the judge’s approval, Loughlin agreed to serve two months in prison (though the coronavirus pandemic could affect that time), pay a $150,000 fine and do 100 hours of community service, while Giannulli agreed to serve five months, pay $250,000 and do 250 hours of community service.
Both could also spend two years on supervised release.

They already reported that, due to the Coronavirus, they'll be sentenced to their home. ROFLOL. Must be a very pleasant punishment
It's a preferential treatment spanking as far as I'm concerned, one extended to only those with deep pockets.

We'll start seeing justice served honestly, when they start stripping unscrupulous judges of their licenses and locking them up, too.

My latest issue of People magazine arrived today no surprise,Lori Loughlin is on the cover with screaming headline'Why She Finally Confessed' Give me a break!!!!!
I wouldn't be surprised if she writes a book,then there'll be the TV movie version,anything to make a buck.She's a loser

She's not allowed to profit (book, movie) from her crime.

She should of plead guilty when Felicity Huffman did.
When I saw her signing autographs before and after entering the courthouse,it was obvious to me she didn't think what she did was a 'big deal'.One more 'has been' actress I hope we never hear from again
Her smile says it all. Who wouldn't laugh at our pathetic justice system?

Sentences were handed down Friday to Lori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli for their roles in the college admissions scandal — and while addressing the court, the Full House actress TV watchers know as Aunt Becky admitted she made an “awful decision.”

The actress faced Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton — via teleconference — to receive her sentence for her involvement in the widespread scam; it saw her and husband plead guilty to paying $500,000 to college admissions fixer William “Rick” Singer to get their YouTube star daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Giannulli, into the University of Southern California as fake crew recruits.

Gorton agreed to the sentence the prosecutors recommended for Loughlin: five months in prison, a $250,000 fine, 250 hours of community service and two years of supervised release. Loughlin had faced a total of 50 years before she made the deal.

Loughlin has 90 days to report to prisons, by Nov. 19. Her attorney said they hope she’s assigned to Victorville prison, a medium-security facility, in Victorville, Calif....read on....

That would be this one: https://www.bop.gov/locations/institutions/vvm/

...about 15 miles from here. This is a popular area for prisons, population density is low(for Southern Calif), land is cheap, local public leaders are hungry for business that generates jobs and tax revenue.

I was surprised prosecutor didn't ask for more, like maybe 6 months for Lori and a year for husband. I think judge would have gone along with it.

Well, at least they will actually go to prison.
Why should she get less time than he? Let's see how long the actually stay in prison.

This story was the lead story on NBC Nightly News yesterday. While CBS ran the California wildfires story. Which is more vital to us?
The woman gets two months in jail for a crime that means next to nothing to everyone. Who gives a rat's behind?

The bigger question is whether "cancel culture" will push members of this family from B-List celebrity to persona non grata status.

That would be an appropriate sentence for their combined arrogance. This wasn't a single moment of an error in judgment; it was a drawn-out, calculated scam that involved every member of the family.

Here's hoping so.
