I've been giving this a lot of thought lately. I'm not gonna go in depth but will give you my point of view of how things could / should have been if it wasn't for the ignorance of the people. I presume most of you are religious here and even if not, hear me out. I don't think that god ever intended for us to live with so many restrictions, borders and so on. we were given this world, There were no countries, no restrictions. people ruined the whole experience of enjoying life to its fullest from the beginning, started wars, then we got the borders, different countries, basically everything went bad. no one can really openly say that there once was a time where peace was all around. greediness and arrogance forced all the generations to live miserably at some point of their lives. or all of it. not everyone experiences the freedom they desire. nowadays most do, but if u live in somewhat of a developed country, with resources, decent job to fulfill your dreams. Not all the people get that. theres still so much going on in iraq, palestine etc.. the kids there simply dont get the chance to start dreaming the big things. It's simply much harder of a task for them than for the rest of us. which is not fair. if there was just one country ( Call it Earth ) itself, i dont think we'd have the same issues we have now. economically everyone would be doing fine. there would be more fairness overall. I presume.

The question is, would world be a better place if there were no countries ? the logical answer would be, but Vako there will be chaos all around the world. no ? technically no. basically how i imagine it, there would be one leadership for the whole earth, and all of it would be one whole country with one language which causes less problems.

My question became how could things have gone if humans werent so complicated.

I guess i went in depth after all. sorry. Hope you get my point. share your thoughts, thank you !

Wellll, when... "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth," He never said when moving throughout the lands resulted in changes in physical characteristics to be compatible with the environment, turn it into an excuse to consider other people 'different.' Nope, He never said that at all.

Imagine
John Lennon
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace, you

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world, you

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Love that song.. ❤ thank you janice

I see what you're saying judycat. understandable

What? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Vako have you read the Old Testament? Eve ate the apple and it all went to crap. 😂. Just saying.

Since God was used how do you explain the division of mankind by this. about the Tower of Babel?

God was concerned that humans had blasphemed by building the tower to avoid a second flood so God brought into existence multiple languages. Thus, humans were divided into linguistic groups, unable to understand one another.

Sounds to me like separation was intended.

...if only that old fairytale was true.... ;)

I'm not very religious, haven't read old tastament no. though i believe in god and in certain things and I truly believe what i wrote could have been the best outcome and had to be the plan because of how good it sounds. Janice posted John lenons song, which interprets everything i could have said shortly instead of writing that much haha. though, hope you get it ! cheers

That's like saying parents who are fed up with their kids arguing and scrapping, and send them to their rooms, intend for their families to be permanently divided.
Really! Comparing arguing to complete lack of ability to communicate is your logic?

Sigh, many parents kick their kids out of the house at very young ages.
Seems to me that any reference using the bible stories to question the logic of any thought promoting the belief that there is a supernatural being billions of years old watching what trillions of humans have done over the centuries is challenged in a non logical way.

I really don't care what gets people thru their day. I just like to ask about why a thought like open or no borders is attributed to God when it seems obvious to me free will makes that impossible.

Even here ideas conflict so how would a world full of conflicting ideas be resolved in one society? Would the world live well like those in Venezuela do?

IMO if we wiped away the borders people would eventually form into groups of families or tribes just like the sons of Jacob did. New territories controlled by the individual tribes would evolve into new countries. Before you know it we would right back where we started with some old couple screaming at the neighborhood kids. ;)

Our species is, at once, the most vile, greedy, corrupt, villainous, murderous, self-absorbed, self-centered life form to ever walk this planet. We have fouled our nest, poisoning our land, air, and water, have driven countless species to extinction, and cannot get along with our own family members, in many cases, let alone other races, other religions, etc.

The fantasy of a one-world community is just that. We can't get along with more than a few neighbors. How the hell could we ever get along with folks from all over the place? Dream on........

The only way this one world community could work would be by absolute mind control of the masses, with their absolute obedience to a higher ruling body. You'd need to create a boogeyman, a way to scare people into doing things they'd never dream of doing otherwise. You would ease them into total control by constantly bombarding them with things that would scare them, like a disease that they'd believe might wipe out humanity. Oh, wait..........

Then that would cause the weird situation where the anti-vaxxers would be the rebels.

I prefer this idea of the purpose of life:

Ralph Waldo Emerson said: “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you lived and lived well.”

I believe the purpose of life is to be born, get some energy, age to sexual maturity, have offspring, then die. That's it!

The life force keeps churning on, to keep itself going, any way it can......
