Cracker Barrel to Add Beer and Wine to Menu

The Covid-19 pandemic really rocked the restaurant industry. Favorite chains closed (I miss you so much Sweet Tomatoes), menus shifted, and for many customers, cooking dinner at home became a necessity. Restaurants are slowly reopening, but a lot of customers are still wary of dining in due to coronavirus.

Yep, they want to get us drunk so we'll buy even more vintage candies and cutesy tchotchkes in their store.....LOL.

That's my favorite reason for eating at Cracker Barrel - all that fun stuff to look at and (sometimes) buy.

Cracker Barrell is "comfort food" to me. Like going to your grandma's for Sunday dinner except you don't have to kiss your server and the place doesn't smell like mothballs.

I invested in Cracker Barrel stock recently and made some good gains.
My neighbor is retired from being a Cracker Barrel manager.
He said the shutdown was hard on them, since they could only serve take out.
He also said that they make more profit on the kitchie items in the store part than they do with the restaurant.
