Price of soft ice cream

My cousin's wife posted on FB that they went with friends to a local dairy bar. For four people all getting large soft ice cream cones, the price was $15, however I don't know if they got any "extras" with the cones. Is that reasonable? Do you happen to know the prices in your locale? This is an ice cream menu from the nearest soft ice cream place to me:

Your cousins price seems what I would expect.

Your menu has some pricier ones, more than I would expect.
Slice of cake, $5 ?
Brownie "delight" $6.50 ?

Seems high to me, unless they had an indoors, which causes high overhead expenses for them.
Or unless they have a great reputation for supporting their emplyees.

$15 each or $15 total?

I don't know about the venue my cousin went to, but the one I cited is a regular "family" restaurant with tables, booths and counter service inside as well as the take-out window.

ice cream prices have gone up considerably over the past year. a pint of ben & jerry's is like $5 something. so $15 for 4 ppl sounds right to me.

It seems high priced to me personally, but is likely needed, to cover modern expenses,
of the servers, utilities, and upkeep of building/insurance, etc.....

that and it is NY deb. when i was there i went with 2 other ppl for 3 cappuccinos and 2 canoli's and it was $20.

4 large cones for $15 total isn't at all expensive when considering the dairy bar's overhead, salaries and new rigorous sanitizing needs.

My grandmother used to say, "If you can't be a sport when you go out, stay home."
