Last Person On Earth

I think I would be ok because the post said Last Person on Earth. I have my cat Treacle and I would get in my car and try and find as many animals that needed help and find a huge estate so I could live with the animals. Oooh think this is sounding a bit like a version of Noah's ark !!!!!!!!! ☺

sounds great until you realize you are a food source for man eating animals

Arm myself against predators, hit a grocery store for food, raid a library for maps and survival books. Learn to drive a diesel RV, and attach a small trailer with at least a couple of 55 gallon drums of fuel and water.

Electricity would almost certainly be out, so I'd develop proficiency at siphoning fuel.

My primary goals would be to stay alive and figure out whether I was indeed the last human survivor.

Twilight Episode: A man survives the life ending nuclear war making him the only man alive on Earth. He is a fanatical reader and stumbles on to a destroyed library containing stacks of books. He is now the happiest man on Earth. As he sits on the library steps with his stack of books he has chosen to read he bends over to pick something up and his thick lens glasses fall of and shatter leaving him nearly blind. He says, "It's not fair, it's not fair."

I'd find the nearest Lamborghini dealership, grab a hot one, gas it up, and hit the road to see all the sights that I wanted to. I'd make sure I was well-provisioned and well-armed (at least as much as I could cram into that tight vehicle) because, sooner or later, the wildlife would be checking out areas they formerly avoided because of the past presence of people.

I kind of liked, "The Last Man On Earth," on TV, but he was a very goofy guy, and I'm far more grounded.

Depending on how things went down making you the last person on Earth you might not be able to drive that car very far. If people just disappeared or died suddenly and it was the middle of the day there would be all sorts of accidents and abandoned vehicles littering the roadways. On top of that all the planes that were flying at the time would eventually return to Earth most likely in a catastrophic way.
