This week I got locked out of "Senior Forums". Apparently, there never was a member called "Fuzzybuddy". So, I became "used2befuzzybuddy", and rejoined. The staff at Forums helped me come back as , TA DA, "Fuzzybuddy". I have two 'me's. One is one Google as my browser, and the other on Firefox. My 'good' me uses Firefox, my evil twin uses Google. When I use Google there are all kinds of irritating flashings ads. None with Firefox. Along with the ads, there are lots of "polls", but the polls are clearly very one sided. They seemed designed to ferret out people with a particular viewpoint, rather than answer a question. It was like if they found that you loved polar bears, you'd get "contribute polar bears orgs." ads. With Google, I felt like a lab rat, always being mined for data, to be used on me some how. None of that stuff seemed to be going on with Firefox. Do you think Google is just a little too intrusive, or maybe I should adjust my tin foil hat?
