The FBI has arrested British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell on multiple charges related to the serial sexual abuse of girls and young women by the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Maxwell, who was among Epstein's closest associates, faces a charge of conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, according to a six-count grand jury indictment that was unsealed Thursday.

Maxwell, 58, was arrested the same day in New Hampshire, the press office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York tells NPR

Many years ago, her father, Robert Maxwell, was a PR client of mine. He was a scoundrel who jumped off his yacht when it became clear that his financial shenanigans were about to be exposed.

If she is guilty -- and I have every reason to believe she is -- I hope she enjoys the rest of her life in orange scrubs.

I was once the TV researcher involved in a Media Interview with Robert Maxwell , he was the single rudest man I ever had the misfortune to meet.. fortunately I wasn't the interviewer and didn't get his uncalled for wrath directed towards me but I witnessed it first hand .. it was despicable .. I can tell you truthfully that the day he was declared dead was a Happy day for many media editors and journalists

I'm pleased at last his equally despicable daughter has finally been arrested, and I hope they can make those charges stick.. she's a Wiley, scheming piece of goods who will have a lot of unsavoury people funding her defence

Why? If they had anything concrete they'd extradite him. Unlike the wives of US diplomats, he is not above the law.

This is just a lawyerfest, which US lawyers are expert in. I never let myself forget they are on a daily retainer and get paid without even picking up a pen!
 
A cougar, predator and pedofiler all in one.....these women exist more than we care to know, ewww.....supplying the big shots with their fantasies coming true....only some will pay the price of the human trafficking involved with these young girls and the mental abuse they endure for a long time....its so widespread all over the world that lots of em' will escape the eyes of the law.

About time too !! She’s been holed up in her flashy mansion , someone must of known , where she was...........im intrigued now as to whether she lies for Andrew or dumps him in it.....🥴🙄😎
